A lecturer and reenactor of the civil war soldier, Frederick Minus is a descendant of two Civil War soldiers, Henry Minus and Charles Rixon. He is one of six members in the newly formed Living History Unit, the 3rd United States Colored Infantry (USCI). He frequently lectures about the exploits of the 22nd U.S. Colored Infantry.
