Hail And Farewell To Naomi Judd by Joe Leydon

Naomi Judd, half of the Country Music Hall of Fame duo the Judds, passed away on April 30, 2022. Details on how Naomi Judd died are not yet available but the soon-to-be Country Music Hall of Fame artist was immediately remembered by friends and fellow country singers. Naomi Judd is remembered as much for her music as she is for her family. Late in life, she was a beacon for those suffering from mental illness. Sadly, it seems that mental illness led to her death in Nashville at age 76.

Friends and admirers from throughout the world of country music and beyond paid their respects to Naomi Judd — celebrating her life and mourning her death — as word spread of her passing Saturday at age 76.

The sad news was announced by her daughters: Wynonna, with whom she recorded and toured as the phenomenally popular duo The Judds, and Ashley, the award-winning TV and film actor. To read more go to the link below:
