Dean Family Cemetery
(c. South Brunswick Historical Society, 1977)
Begun by the Dean family, this cemetery was later used by several families in the
Martinsville or Deans area of South Brunswick. It is located .3 miles northwest of the overpass of Major Road and the old Pennsylvania Railroad, from Gould Lane across private land.
Aaron Dean, son of Thomas & Mary R. Dean, born May 1, 1831, died Feb. 9, 1910
(Located on a large monument which also lists Ruth D. Britton, his wife, and Ruth Ella, their daughter.)
Aaron Dean, died Feb. 8, 1849, aged 65 years.
Aaron Dean, Sr., died Feb. 27, 1798, aged 59 years (stone broken)
Aaron Dean, Jr., died Nov. 21, 1801, aged 55 years
Catharine Dean, daughter of Samuel and Lydia Dean, died Nov. 26, 1825,
aged 20 years Isabel Dean, wife of Abraham Dean, died April 16, 1832, aged 77 years.
