Clinton E. Taylor is the chairperson of the social studies department and teaches African-American studies and United States history at Elizabeth High School in Elizabeth, New Jersey. He has been cited on numerous occasions for outstanding teaching and has served as a consultant to many educational institutions. He has been named Teacher of the Year (1998) and recognized for Outstanding Service by the Governor’s Teacher Recognition Program (1999). Taylor is a graduate of Howard University in Washington, D.C.
