The 18-year-old Gangwon 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games Big Air silver medallist will take to the Livigno Snow Park for the two-run women’s freeski slopestyle qualification, with the best score counting.
Thomas took just 47 days to return to a World Cup competition after rupturing her ACL in November, going on to qualify for her debut Olympic Winter Games, so she’s excited to get started.
Australian athletes will also feature in cross-country skiing on Saturday with Ellen Soehol Lie, Maddie Hooker, Phoebe Cridland and Rosie Fordham getting their Olympic Games off the mark in the women’s 10km + 10km skiathlon.
