Flemington Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Flemington (1794-1887)

FLEMINGTON PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH CEMETERY, FLEMINGTON,

A cemetery map of 1880 shows this area designated for two uses.  The first, closest to the church, is designated for strangers.  The second, at the very end of the original cemetery land, is designated for Colored People.  Strangers were those souls who died as unknowns and were buried in the graveyard.
