Dr. Gordon Vincent, a historian-storyteller, performs as President Abraham Lincoln for historical societies, genealogy societies, women’s clubs, civic organizations, Civil War roundtables, and Republican clubs.  He has appeared at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City, as well as parades (riding in the Lincoln coach), on radio (NPR) and television, and at Civil War reenactment and living history events with the New Jersey  3RD Volunteers.  Here, as Lincoln, he reviews the troops.  Dr. Vincent serves as secretary of the Association of Lincoln Presenters. In the early 50s, after completing his graduate studies there, he joined the faculty at the University of Oregon Dental School.  In 1971, he became associate dean of the New Jersey Dental School, University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ, and from 1973 to 1991 served as professor and department chairman there.  After retiring, he joined the UMDNJ faculty as a volunteer.
