Brian Toal conducts political, corporate, legal and historic research for projects, focusing on historic preservation of the history of Clark, New Jersey. He has served as the municipal historian of the Township of Clark and chaired the Historic Trust Commission of the Historic Preservation Commission there. He is the author of Let Us Celebrate the 125th Anniversary of The Township of Clark and From Exit 135: A History of the Township of Clark, NJ (Rutgers University Press, 2003). Toal served as coordinator of the archaeological dig and historic investigation of “An Underground Railroad Site: The Petersen House, Clark, NJ 1999. He has a bachelors degree in history and an M.B.A. of history from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Florham Park, New Jersey.
